Residential Tariff Types

The verified residential dataset supports lifeline, protected, unprotected, and time-of-use categories. Rates remain in the live tables above rather than being duplicated in this graphic.

Who qualifies for each category?

Lifeline applies to qualifying single-phase Non-TOU residential connections with sanctioned load up to 1 kW and maximum current and previous twelve-month consumption not exceeding 100 units. Protected status requires Non-TOU consumption of no more than 200 units in each of the previous six months. Other Non-TOU residential consumers are unprotected.
