Online Payment Options
MEPCO confirms that online payment facilities are available. Availability differs by bank or payment provider, so verify that MEPCO appears in the provider’s electricity-bill list before proceeding. This website does not collect payments.
Mobile Banking
- Open your bank’s official app and find bill payments.
- Select electricity and then MEPCO if it is listed.
- Enter the Reference Number or Customer ID requested by the app.
- Confirm the consumer details and payable amount before authorising payment.
- Save the receipt or transaction reference.
Mobile Wallets
Some regulated payment services may support electricity bills. Support changes, so do not rely on an unverified provider list. Use the provider’s official app, check that MEPCO is offered, and confirm the bill details before paying.
Bank and ATM Payment
The Consumer Service Manual describes payment through designated bank branches and supported ATM or online channels where available. ATM menu labels vary, but the same safety rule applies: verify the company and consumer details before confirmation.
Physical Payment Locations
The official manual also describes bill collection through designated commercial bank branches and post offices in the relevant city or district. Take the complete bill and obtain a stamped or printed receipt.
How to Confirm a Payment
Keep the receipt and check the status through your payment provider. Your next official bill may also show payment history. Avoid paying again immediately unless the provider confirms that the first attempt failed.
What If Payment Is Not Reflected?
First contact the bank or payment service with the transaction reference. If it confirms success but the account is still not updated, contact MEPCO and provide the receipt, payment date, amount, and Reference Number. Do not post these details publicly.
